Description

When we analyse, examine and transform the material, we discover concrete ideas within it; we listen to the originality of the questions it poses to the world; and we set out to intervene in the genesis of the possibilities it holds within itself.

The regeneration of this house in Baixa, Porto, involved the restoration and an attempt to make full use of the materials from which it was built, through the introduction of a crushing machine capable of transforming demolition waste; using minimal processing techniques, this machine produces new materials for reconstruction.
